The squad of 24 players are the current Cheshire Champions (U13). Last season they went undefeated in all games a remarkable achievement.

This season they are in the semi-final of the Cheshire Cup and are having an equally strong season having lost just one game to Chester. Seeking more competitive games the team has gone further afield to Lancashire and Yorkshire finding excellent teams, creating new friendships and respect from our neighbouring counties and in the process beating both the Lancashire and Yorkshire champions.  

The emphasis is on 15 man running rugby where all players get to try different positions dependent on their skills, ability and stages of development but most of all we have fun.  This years tour is to Limerick where we will play Shannon and Garryown. Last year we played in the Ayr international tournament so the team, and supporters are spreading the AK word around the home nations making friends as they go along in the true spirit of rugby. It has to be mentioned that we have the best parents who not only turnout each Sunday but support the team and club in many other ways.

Also two big brothers regularly assist with training Dave Hardy and Will Murray   The team train on Thursday nights at the club from 6.30 to 7.30   The lady that keeps us all in order and does the administration and kit is Sally Murray who is also a first aider   Special mention goes to our tour organisers Joe Kijowski and Tony Norstrom
