Directions:

From the West
Travel along A69 to junction with A1 West of Newcastle. Follow A1 South past the Metro Centre and Angel of the North. Take slip road to the left marked "Washington". This is just before the motorway starts. Follow road straighton for approx half a mile until a roundabout is reached. Turn left onto the motorway A194(M) and then the A194 following signs for "South Shields". About two miles from end of motorway turn right at roundabout for the A1300. See below A1300

From the South
(we recommend the A19 as the better route)
A19 travel North past Nissan factory and straight ahead at next roundabout. Take slip road to the left signposted "South Shields".Turn right at roundabout and after 100 yards turn right at roundabout for the A1300. See below A1300

A1 travel North until Washington Services and then take A194(M)and then the A194 following signs for "South Shields". About two miles from end of motorway turn right at roundabout for the A1300. See below A1300
