Club: About this new site

Welcome to the new web site for Altrincham Kersal RFC. We are indebted to Marketing Insite and their development partners Cake Solutions for the provision of this new web site which went live 1 February 2007. Their services have been provided free of charge.

Yes, it has taken a little longer than had been hoped, but we hope that you believe the wait has been worth it. The aim of the site is to provide as much information as possible about the club and to keep the members up to date at a time when our membership is growing, both in the senior and junior sides and off the field. Whilst the main pages of the site will be maintained by the webmaster, the individual team pages will be administered by volunteers from each team so that results, match reports and fixtures can be maintained easily and news stories and announcements for specific teams can be created quickly and on a weekly basis without the need for technical skills.

We will also be driving traffic to the site with our regular e-mail newsletter which will provide news about forthcoming events and other news on a regular basis. If you wish to be added to our e-mail newsletter distribution simply send an e-mail to us here adding "AK e-mail subscription" to the subject line.

Given traffic to the site, we are also able to offer sponsorship of individual web pages and the team sections, which we see as bringing considerable financial support to the club whilst also giving sponsosrs additional presence and links to their own web site.
