Altrincham Kersal Women’s Rugby XV continue to be a dominant force in the North of England, having won the RFUW Championship North Two league last season and gaining promotion to RFUW Championship North One for the 2009-10 season. AKWRFC now look to replicate their success in 2008-09 by continued hard work, commitment and further recruitment.

The squad boasts several seasoned county Cheshire and North West Regional representative players. Alongside the devotion to the game of rugby the women’s team also have an excellent social calendar and a passion for international touring, most recently to Milan.
