Altrincham Kersal RFC is a Community Club based in South Manchester with over 113 years of rugby history. As a proud Community Club we maintain the values of traditional rugby and are able to field 5 senior sides and 12 junior and mini sides. Altrincham Kersal RFC benefits from one of the strongest Mini and Junior sections in the North West of England with over 280 playing members. Last season, the Cheshire Cup was won for the third consecutive year by the Under 19’s (Senior Colts) with the Under 15’s winning the Cheshire Plate and the Under 14's reaching the Cheshire Cup Final. Another great season for the Junior section following success for the Under 19’s the previous year winning the Halbro Colts A League, the League Cup and the Cheshire Cup.

The Altrincham Kersal Women’s team also continue to be a dominant force in the North West of England, having won the RFUW Championship North Two in 2008/09 they have retained their RFUW Championship North One status for the 2010/11 season.

All abilities and levels are catered for with 4 Senior Men’s teams all playing in competitive leagues, the 1st XV, 2nd XV, 3rd XV and 4th XV playing in North One West, Bateman BMW Premier League, University of Salford North West Leagues Division 4 South and 5 South respectively. The club also has a long-standing social tradition with regular events, a Sportsman’s Dinner and the now infamous End of Season Ball. Function rooms are available for hire - click here
